Alright, I broke my fast of 74 hours last night.
Did I comply to my rules? Let’s review:
- Fasted over 40 hours? YES
- Lost 1kg+? YES, new low at 105.4 kg (-2.3 kg down)
- Questioned myself 4h in advance? YES, at store ~6h in advance, target set at 72h+
- Read purpose?
- WROTE WHY? OH, NOT WRITTEN, THOUGH!
Alright, so I will admit I could for sure continue the fast and perhaps shouldn’t have broken it so late in the day. My thoughts were it to be at the 72 hours mark but happened to be visiting people with my wife.
Another thing I was up to all day – was to not having any nicotine/snus all through the day (except for the morning), I felt some abstinent at times, but it felt easier on me when I was fasted unlike times I tried to cut it out when I wasn’t fasted. It’s been in the back of my mind for the past month to attempt to quit the nicotine while I’m in deep ketosis/fast.
The importance now is to be consistent – to keep fasting now and following my rules, that now is:
- Weigh below 104.4 kg
- ~5pm Monday earliest to break my fast.
Though I’m thinking to attempt fasting longer – until next Saturday so about 1 week at least!
I must say I enjoyed putting in some piri-piri hot chilli sauce into my snake juice as well.
Side note is – I’m still not done with this website, yesterday I struggled thinking how the structure of the website should be. Once I’m done with all the pages on the website, I will be making a post about it, though.
